Statement:  Dr. Bruno holds an appointment as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and is a faculty attending physician at the UConn/Saint Francis Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. He practices full spectrum family medicine and has a special interest in osteopathic manual medicine (OMM) and hospitalist medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, he teaches medical students and residents at the medical school and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.



Dr. Bruno's professional experience includes urgent/emergency care and hospitalist medicine. After completing residency training, Dr. Bruno relocated to Florida where he worked in primary care, urgent care, and as a hospitalist. He returned to the Northeast in 2006 and joins Saint Francis from his last position as a hospitalist at Hartford Hospital.



A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Bruno's professional career has always involved teaching and clinical publishing. He has authored several papers, case reports and medical textbook chapters. Dr. Bruno also serves as a medical officer in the United States Air Force Reserve.
