Ann Navage, APRN, MSN, ACNS-BC, CWOCN 2Ann is the Wound Healing Clinical Manager of the Wound Care Service at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center, covering the in-patient wound team and at the Center for Advanced Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. Her nursing education began after graduating from Meriden-Wallingford School of Nursing. She continued at Boston College where she obtained both her Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing. Ann taught at the St Francis Hospital School of Nursing for many years serving as Level chairperson and Curriculum coordinator. In 1996, she became certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and became certified as a Wound, Ostomy and Continence nurse. Her certification as a CNS in Adult Health through the ANCC is effective through 2015 and she recently recertified as a CWOCN through 2017. Ann is a member of the American Nurses Association, Connecticut Nurses Association, National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, the New England region of WOCN, serves as treasurer for the CT WOC ET Nurses and as a consultant for the Greater Hartford chapter of the UOAA. She serves on the Advisory Committee for Goodwin College and Three Rivers Community College. She is a clinical preceptor for the Harrisburg Area WOC Nursing Education program and the webWOC Nursing Education program. Ann has served as adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor, Graduate Nursing program-Quinnipac University and Clinical Associate Faculty, Graduate Nursing program-University of Saint Joseph.
