Yoga Classes  

Yoga revitalizes the body and the mind and helps to lubricate the joints, stabilize muscles, and increase circulation. Clear instructions are offered for postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation. Modifications are given to accommodate for individuals with limitations or those new to yoga. Some classes are specific to various health issues. Please bring a yoga mat to class. Class fee is 6 week series for $60 unless otherwise noted.

Yoga for the Immune System

Did you know that yoga can help boost the immune system, reduce stress and strengthen bodily functions?  Come to this workshop and participate in a yoga practice that will specifically increase circulation, lubricate joints, condition the respiratory tract, promote digestion and provide relaxation techniques to reduce stress hormones. Each participant will leave with a yoga handout as well as some simple immune boosting recipes.

Learn How to Develop a Yoga Practice at Home

For many people, having time for self-care can be challenging. This interactive class will guide you to develop a yoga practice at home. Yoga helps to reduce the effects of stress on the body as well as increasing strength and flexibility in your body. Having a home practice can save time, energy, and money. Even a practice as short as 20 minutes can be beneficial. Yoga experience is not required. If possible, bring yoga mat.

Gentle Yoga

This class is perfect for those new to yoga, recovering from injury, or would prefer a gentle yoga practice.  We will explore various gentle postures to lubricate the joints, strengthen the body, and promote balance and stability.  Special attention will be given to poses that stimulate the immune system and warm the body during the cold winter months.  Each class will include gentle breath-work and guided relaxation. Participants will leave feeling refreshed and restored.
