(Hartford, Conn. January 5, 2011) – Rachel Balloch, D.P.M., of Marlborough, a podiatrist, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Balloch received her degree in podiatric medicine from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, Iowa. She served as an intern and resident in podiatry at University Hospital/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark.
Board qualified in podiatric surgery, Dr. Balloch is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Society.
Dr. Balloch most recently served as an attending physician and externship director in the Podiatry Department at University Hospital/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark.
At Saint Francis, she is practicing as a member of Bloomfield Foot Specialists, L.L.C. She has been named the Surgical Director of the Saint Francis Podiatric Surgery Residency Program.
