LORRAINE J. TROW, M.D., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS - Specialist in Pulmonary Medicine

(HARTFORD, Conn., June 3, 2010)—Lorraine J. Trow, M.D., of South Glastonbury, a pulmonologist, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Trow received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, where she served as an intern and resident in internal medicine. She completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, Dr. Trow is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the honor society Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Trow previously practiced in Richmond, Va., for 17 years with Pulmonary Associates of Richmond and held an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Virginia. At Saint Francis, she is practicing as a member of Prime Healthcare, P.C.

Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets. It is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
