(Hartford, Conn. August 7, 2012) – Maria Tsarouhas, D.O., a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Tsarouhas received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, P.A. She completed her internship in osteopathic medicine and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Metro Health Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Following residency, she was a staff attending physician at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Tsarouhas is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Osteopathic Association. She is also a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. At Saint Francis, Dr. Tsarouhas is practicing as a member of the Saint Francis Medical Group.
