Internist Joins Saint Francis

(Hartford, Conn. January 3, 2012) – Cameale Smart, M.D., of Broad Brook, an internist, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Smart received her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies.  She served as a resident in internal medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, New Haven.
Dr. Smart also holds a bachelor of science in nursing degree from Florida International University, Miami, and a bachelor of science in biology degree from Florida Memorial College, Miami.
Board eligible in internal medicine, Dr. Smart is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society.  She is the author or co-author of three papers published in professional journals.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Smart is practicing as a member of Roy A. Kellerman, M.D., L.L.C.
