Saint Francis Expands its Hospitalist Team

SYED SALMAN ALI, M.D., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS

(Hartford, Conn. Aug. 11, 2011) – Syed Salman Ali, M.D., a hospitalist, of Farmington, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Ali received his medical degree from the Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, N.Y. 
He has been associated with Hallmark Health Systems, Medford, Mass., as a hospitalist, and the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, where he held an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Ali is the co-author of three papers published in peer-reviewed professional journals. 
At Saint Francis, Dr. Ali is practicing as a member of the Saint Francis Medical Group.
