Directions to CJRI from the Saint Francis Garage
- From the 2nd floor of the Collins Parking Garage, you will enter the main hospital on floor 2
- Pass a security podium near the garage entrance and continue down the hall until you reach the Information Desk
- At the Information Desk, turn right and follow the hall into the Green Zone. Continue past the Green zone elevators
- At the end of the corridor (Radiology will be straight ahead), turn right
- Continue down that hall and turn left at the sign for Red zone elevators
- Take the Red zone elevators to the 4th floor - CJRI
- Entrance to CJRI is located on your left

Routes are marked with blue "H" signs, the universal symbol for hospitalsTake Exit 32A to Interstate 84 Westbound. From Interstate 84 Westbound, take Exit 48, Asylum Street. From exit ramp, take right onto Garden Street. At second traffic light, take left onto Collins Street. Follow Collins Street for six blocks. At light, take left onto Woodland Street to hospital entrance on left.

From Interstate 84 Eastbound
Take Exit 46, Sisson Avenue (a left exit). From exit ramp, take right onto Sisson Avenue for four blocks. Take right onto Farmington Avenue. Follow Farmington Avenue for four blocks. Take left onto Woodland Street. Follow Woodland Street for three blocks to hospital entrance on right.
Patient Drop-off and Pick-up: Easy as 1-2-3...
Parking is free for drivers who drop off a patient at the hospital. For the convenience of patients arriving and leaving the hospital, an express patient drop-off and pick-up zone is available on the first floor of the Collins Parking Garage.
When dropping off a patient, please follow signs for "Valet Parking" and "Patient Pick-up and Drop-off Zone.'' Keep right to drop off or pick-up the patient closest to the first-floor garage entrance to the hospital.
After drop-off, drivers who plan to meet the patient inside the hospital should follow "Parking" signs and find a spot anyplace in the Collins Street Garage. Parking is free for drivers who drop off a patient at the hospital.
Upon discharge, patients should wait for pick-up inside the hospital near the first-floor entrance to the Collins Garage. Drivers are asked to bring their discharge papers and parking ticket to the second floor secruity station to have their parking fees waived. After stopping at the security station, retrieve your car and return to the first-floor drop-off and pick-up zone to pick up your patient. Present your validated parking ticked at the garage exit for free parking.

The Collins Garage is equipped with an automated pay system, which allows you to pay your fee inside the hospital, before returning to your car in the garage. The central pay stations are located on the first and second floors of the hospital, near the exits to the garage.

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center parking facilities are well lit and equipped with surveillance cameras and security patrols. A security escort to your vehicle is available 24 hours a day by dialing 44492 from any hospital telephone.
The Collins Garage has 35 handicapped parking spaces located on the second floor. Vehicles using these spots must display state-issued handicapped parking permits. Illegally parked vehicles are subject to ticketing and towing by the Hartford Police Department. If the handicapped spaces are full, please use our free valet parking service, located on the second floor, near the hospital entrance.
Inside the Hospital
We know, the corridors at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center are long. Sometimes it's just too far to walk. That's why we are the only hospital in the area to offer electrified mini-cabs to shuttle patients to their destinations within the hospital.
Mini-cab service is available at Saint Francis Monday-Friday from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., upon request. Call Ext. 58000 from any hospital telephone to request a ride.
