Administrator Named For Behavioral Health Services

(HARTFORD, Conn.) – James E. Murray, M.A., L.P.C., of Dayville, has been named administrator for behavioral health services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Murray has been associated with the Saint Francis Care system since 1991, holding a wide range of managerial positions in the behavioral health field. In his new position, he will provide administrative management for Saint Francis’ child, adolescent and adult inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospital programs and PATH Outpatient Services. He will also be responsible for behavioral health consultation and liaison services throughout the hospital and provide administrative oversight of strategic planning and marketing for Saint Francis’ behavioral health services.

A licensed professional counselor, Murray received a bachelor’s degree in counseling and psychology from the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass., and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Connecticut.

Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
