(HARTFORD, Conn.) -- William Godburn, of Canaan, has been named Vice President, Revenue Management, at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. He had served as Director of Ambulatory Services at the Hospital since 2005. In his new position, Godburn will oversee Business Office, Patient Access, Health Information Management and Revenue Cycle operations.
Godburn holds a master’s degree in health care management from Renesselear Polytechnic Institute, Hartford Campus, a bachelor’s degree in public policy and government from Eastern Connecticut State University, an associate’s degree from Northwestern Community College and a certificate in healthcare compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association. He serves as an adjunct professor of management at Saint Joseph College and is the former chairman of the Region 1 High School Board of Education.
Prior to joining Saint Francis, Godburn had served in various capacities at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital since 1989.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
