Outreach and Prevention Education

The Greater Hartford Children's Advocacy Center offers prevention education for

  • parents
  • teachers
  • children
  • child caregivers
  • other professionals and community members interested in sexual abuse prevention and child safety.

Education capacity may be limited by staffing and funding constraints, but we will make every effort to accommodate requests. For information about presentations, training, workshops, videos, written materials, and consultation please call 860-714-5052.

Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services (CONNSACS)works to end sexual violence through victim assistance, community education, and public policy advocacy.

National Children's Alliance (NCA) provides training, support, technical assistance and leadershipon a national level to local children's and child advocacy centersand communities responding to reports of child abuse and neglect.

The American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC)is anational organization supporting professionals who serve children and families affected by child maltreatment and violence.
