Susan F. Burroughs, M.D., Joins Saint Francis

Susan F. Burroughs MD Specialist in Hematology 

Hartford, Conn. March 26, 2013) Susan F. Burroughs, M.D., of Simsbury, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. 

Dr. Burroughs received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at University Health Sciences Center, Morgantown, WV, and her fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Minnesota. 

Dr. Burroughs is American Board of Internal Medicine certified in hematology and oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology; the International Society of Hemostasis and Thrombosis; and the American College of Physicians. 

Dr. Burroughs is practicing in Enfield with Saint Francis Medical Group.  She provides hematology/oncology care in association with the Johnson Memorial Cancer Center.   She has a particular interest in benign and malignant blood disorders, including bleeding and clotting disorders.
