The Center for Nursing Education and Practice Innovation, a division of the Department of Patient Care Services, is composed of advanced practice Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Masters-prepared Nurse Educators. The Center works within the Shared Governance structure to support an innovative practice environment by providing clinical expertise, consultation, clinical leadership, and education to the bedside nurse. The Center promotes the use of research and best-practice evidence to inform nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
