How To Access Equipment, Interpreter Services and Mini Cabs.
For equipment or interpreter services, dial Ext. 44968 (voice) or "0" for the operator from inside the hospital or 860-714-4447 (TTY number) or 860-714-4000 (voice) from outside the hospital. Please provide the operator with the following information:
- Patient or companion name
- Patient or companion location
- Type of equipment or interpreter service needed
- Date and time needed
- Length of time needed
If you phone the day before your scheduled appointment, we will make every effort to have your request available upon your arrival.
Mini-Cabs are available inside the hospital to take you to your destination, if you choose not to walk. You may summon a Mini-Cab at the Information Desks or using the telephones marked with yellow and black checkered signs. These phones are located just inside the Collins Parking Garage entrances to the Patient Care Tower.
