Urogynecology

Incontinence has been identified as one of the major health care problems facing American women in their years following menopause. Current estimates indicate that as many as 20 percent of mature women suffer from loss of bladder control. Our sophisticated diagnostic testing is capable of distinguishing the various causes of incontinence, as well as relaxation disorders of the pelvic floor. Once a diagnosis is made, we recommend appropriate therapy, including medical or surgical intervention, and refer the patient back to her own gynecologist for continuing care. For more information about urogynecology services, contact your gynecologist or call 860-286-2996.
