DR. GREEN RE-ELECTED ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY CHAIRMAN
Will Serve Second Three-Year Term

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Robert A. Green, M.D., of West Hartford, has been re-elected to a second, three-year term as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

A senior member of the departments attending medical staff, Dr. Green received his medical degree from the Universite De Paris-Sud. He served an internship at Saskatoon City Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; residencies at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, New Haven, and the University of Connecticut Health Center, Farmington; and a fellowship in arthritis surgery at Robert B. Brigham Hospital, Boston.

A diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Green is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Executives. He holds an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Green is the President of the Connecticut State Orthopedic Society and specializes in joint replacement surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery. He is a corporator of the Hospital and a member of the Board of Directors of the Saint Francis Physician Hospital Organization. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Hartford County Medical Association. He previously served as President of Saint Francis Medical and Dental Staff, and as Chairman of the Hospitals Medical Staff Council.
