JOSEPH SALA, D.O., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS Specialist in Radiology

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Joseph C. Sala, D.O., of Hartford, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Sala received his degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, Maine. Upon graduating, he completed an internship at Norwalk Hospital. He finished his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Connecticut, where he also served as chief radiology resident. In addition, he completed a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
Dr. Sala is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, and holds an appointment as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Therapeutics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a member of various professional associations, including the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Sala will practice as a member of Radiology Associates of Hartford, P.C., with offices in Enfield, Avon, and Glastonbury.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
