SAINT FRANCIS NAMES JENNIFER S. SCHNEIDER VICE PRESIDENT Will Serve as Chief Compliance Officer

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Jennifer S. Schneider, of Granby, has been named Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management and Chief Compliance Officer at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. In her new position, she will be responsible for the creation of a new, comprehensive enterprise risk management program for Saint Francis Care.
Schneider has held the position of Corporate Compliance Officer and Director of Internal Audit since 2005. Prior to that, Schneider was the Director of Revenue Cycle.
Schneider joined Saint Francis in 2001 and served as the Controller at Easter Seals Greater Hartford Rehabilitation Center, Windsor. Previously, she was a senior manager at Ernst & Young, Hartford, where she served Saint Francis as an external auditor for nine years.
A graduate of Bentley College, Waltham, Mass., Schneider is a certified public accountant and is certified in Healthcare Compliance. She is a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and The Institute of Internal Auditors.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
