SAINT FRANCIS NAMES LEE A. GALUSKA, M.S.N., R.N., TO NURSING LEADERSHIP POSITION Will Serve as Director of Maternal/Child Health Services

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Lee A. Galuska, M.S.N., R.N., of Southington, has been named Director of Maternal/Child Health Services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. In her new position, she will provide nursing leadership in the Hospitals New Beginnings Family Birth Care Center and pediatric and neonatal inpatient units.
Galuska received a bachelor of science in nursing degree from the University of Connecticut and a master of science in nursing administration from the University of Hartford. She is certified as a nurse administrator by the American Nursing Credential Center.
A veteran of 28 years in nursing, Galuska most recently served as Director of Womens and Inpatient Medical Services at MidState Medical Center, Meriden. She also has held nursing leadership positions at Connecticut Childrens Medical Center.
Galuska is a member of the American Association of Nurse Executives; Connecticut Association of Nurse Executives; Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing; American College of Health Care Executives; and the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honoring society.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
