SAINT FRANCIS NAMES ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR FOR SURGERY Alan Katten to Fill Post

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Alan Katten, of Berlin, has been named Administrative Director for Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
In this position he will be responsible for administrative leadership and strategic planning for surgical services at the Hospital, building upon his expertise in supporting clinical programs and implementing state-of-the-art surgical programs.
Katten holds a bachelors degree in biology and a masters in business administration from the University of Connecticut. He currently serves as President of the Greater Hartford Chapter of the University of Connecticut Alumni Association.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
