MARIA E. QUIÑONES, M.D., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS Specialist in Internal Medicine

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Maria E. Quiñones, M.D., of West Hartford, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
A graduate of the University of Libre School of Medicine, Cali, Colombia, Dr. Quiñones completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. During her internship, she received the Veterans Administration Award which was given to the geriatric intern of the year for providing excellence in patient care and teaching.
Dr. Quiñones is board certified in internal medicine and fluent in Spanish. She is currently welcoming new patients at her practice, Quiñones Medical Group, L.L.C., located at 1007 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
