SAINT FRANCIS NAMES DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING Joseph Greenier to Fill Post

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Joseph Greenier, of South Windsor, has been named Director of Engineering at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Greenier joined the Hospital in 2003 as Site Director of Engineering for the Saint Francis campus. In his new position, he is responsible for all facilities throughout the Saint Francis Care system.
From 1989 to 2003 Greenier held a variety of positions with United Technologies Corporation. He previously was associated with The Spencer Turbine Company and Combustion Engineering.
Greenier holds a masters degree in operations management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hartford; a bachelors degree in industrial technology/electrical systems from Central Connecticut State University; and an associates degree in electrical engineering from Hartford State Technical College.
He currently serves as Assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Hartford Construction Institute and previously was active in the South Windsor Little League and the Boy Scouts of America.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
