SAINT FRANCIS NAMES ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL Teresa M. Bolton To Fill Position

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Teresa M. Bolton, of West Hartford, has been named Assistant General Counsel at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, Bolton has over 16 years of experience working on compliance matters and most recently served as an associate in the Business Services Department of the law firm Tyler Cooper & Alcorn, LLP. Bolton was previously employed as an Experienced Manager at Arthur Andersen, LLP and an Employee Benefits Specialist at Latham & Watkins, LLP.
Bolton is a member of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Association of Central Connecticut and Chair of its Legislative Affairs Committee. She is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and its Health Law and Employment Law Committees; the American Bar Association and its Employee Benefits Subcommittee; and the National Association of Stock Plan Administrators.
In her new position, Bolton will provide legal support for all areas of the organization, with emphasis on the Hospitals corporate compliance and enterprise risk management functions, and will serve as principal liaison to various affiliates of the Hospital.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
