LISA M. ROSSI, M.D., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS Specialist in Gastroenterology

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Lisa M. Rossi, M.D., of West Hartford, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Rossi received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She served as an intern and resident in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where she served as chief medical resident. Following her residency, Dr. Rossi served as a gastroenterology fellow at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where she held an appointment as chief gastroenterology fellow. Dr. Rossi has received several honors and awards: She was named intern of the year from 2000 to 2001 and in 2003 she earned the Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Award for primary care from the VA Connecticut Healthcare System in Newington.
Dr. Rossi has a special interest in womens issues in gastroenterology. At Saint Francis, she will practice as a member of Connecticut Gastroenterology Associates, P.C., at their offices in Hartford and Simsbury.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
