CHRISTINA KABBASH, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Christina Kabbash, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., of Farmington, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Kabbash, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, earned her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York. She also received her doctorate in cellular, molecular and biophysical studies from Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and her masters in public health from the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Kabbash completed her surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, where she served as chief resident. She also served as an attending orthopedic surgeon at Saint Vincents Medical Center, New York, and at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. She maintained a practice at both hospitals in addition to serving as a foot and ankle fellow.
Board eligible in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Kabbash is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the International Council of Motorsports Sciences.
Dr. Kabbash is currently welcoming new patients at her practice, Greater Hartford Orthopedic Group, P.C., with locations in Hartford, Enfield, Rocky Hill and Avon.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
