Gift Shops The Women's Auxiliary of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Inc. operates gift shops on the Saint Francis and Mount Sinai Campuses as part of its fund-raising activities. Proceeds are used for charitable hospital programs and activities, medical equipment, scholarships and special patient needs. On the Saint Francis Campus, the Women's Auxiliary Gift Shop is located on the first floor in the Patient Care Tower. It carries a wide range of gift items, toiletries, greeting cards, candy, flowers, magazines and religious articles. The Gift Shop may be reached at Ext. 45602. It is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and weekends, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you are unable to visit the gift shop but would like staff to help you arrange a purchase, please call Ext. 45602.At Mount Sinai, the Auxiliary operates the Sinai Shoppe on the second floor of the hospital, across from the cafeteria. The shop offers a variety of unique gifts and merchandise for patients, family and friends. The gift shop is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flowers Our volunteers deliver flowers and balloons that are sent to you. Paula's Garden, LLC is located on the first floor of the Patient Care Tower, off the walkway to the Collins Parking Garage, on the Saint Francis campus. Patients in Critical Care Units may not receive flowers or plants. On all other floors, flowers and plants must be in containers that can be kept on a table. Call 860 714-4006 for more information. Newspapers/Magazines Newspaper vending machines are located conveniently throughout the hospital. Newspapers and magazines may be purchased from the Women's Auxiliary Gift Shop.
