(HARTFORD, Conn.) Saint Francis Care at Enfield formally opened its doors as Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Centers newest access center in Enfield. The 3-level outpatient medical office facility building is located at 7 Elm Street at the intersection of Elm and Enfield Streets.
Owned and developed by A&L Troiano Family, LLC, the building will be home to primary care physicians, medical and surgical specialists, physical therapists, and ancillary services. The building will also contain space for community education, health promotion, and wellness activities.
As long-term members of the Enfield community, we are pleased to be the catalyst for this important new medical office facility for our hometown,� said Frank Troiano, of A&L Troiano Family, LLC, the developer of the project.
This is an exciting day for the Saint Francis family to expand our presence to serve the community of Enfield and surrounding areas,� said Christopher Dadlez, President and Chief Executive Officer of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
The building was constructed by Enfield Builders, Inc. The first floor is designated for sheltered parking while the second and third floors provide space for offices and treatment areas.
The construction of this facility marks another important step in the development and growth of Enfield. We are pleased to have Saint Francis establish their presence in a key location in our town,� said Patrick Tallarita, Mayor of Enfield.
Saint Francis has served Enfield since 1993 when it opened its first outpatient facility on Hazard Avenue. Since 1996, the Hospital has operated an access center on Cranbrook Boulevard.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
