SAINT FRANCIS NAMES DIRECTOR OF ANESTHESIOLOGY Leo M. Contois, M.D. to Fill Position

(HARTFORD, Conn.) Leo M. Contois, M.D., of Farmington, has been named Director of Anesthesiology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Contois received his medical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and served as a resident in internal medicine and anesthesiology and chief resident in anesthesiology at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has been associated with Saint Francis as an attending anesthesiologist since 1991.
A diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Contois holds an appointment as an assistant clinical professor of anesthesiology at the University of
Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Hartford County Medical Association.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
