St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center has funding available for qualified uninsured patients receiving medically necessary services who can not afford to pay. These funds have been made available to the hospital from various donors. In addition, the hospital has financial assistance available for those patients who qualify. In order to qualify for either Free Bed Funding or Financial assistance you must meet with one of our financial counselors and complete a Financial Relief Application. Upon completion your application will be reviewed for available funding and/or financial assistance. The recipient will be notified within ten (10) days upon receipt of completed application verifying the approved amount and/or denial. If application is denied an explanation will be provided. If you have been denied you may reapply and your application will be reviewed for the availability of additional funds or a change in financial status.
